MEET THE TEAM
Dr. Fazal Reza
Dr. Fazal Reza practices dentistry with great passion, and he strongly believes in excellence. He genuinely enjoys his time with patients of all ages, and he knows how to treat senior citizens with great care while also offering comfort to younger patients who may suffer from dental anxiety. His background and expertise allow him to confidently perform a wide range of techniques and treatments including root canal therapy, crown and bridge prostheses, restorative dentistry, surgical extractions of teeth, orthodontic treatment with Clear Aligners, teeth veneering and teeth whitening.
His extensive knowledge of dental procedures was curated over a decade of studying, teaching and practicing abroad. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Dhaka University in Bangladesh, he travelled to Japan where he pursued a PhD at the Tokyo Medical and Dental University. From there he went on to teach undergraduate and postgraduate dental students as a clinical faculty member at Universiti Sains in Malaysia before moving to Canada where he successfully completed the National Dental Examining Board (NDEB) exams. After that, he took the NDEB Written and OSCE Examinations and got his practice license from Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), of which he’s now an active member.
Dr. Fazal is also a member of the Ontario Dental Association, and after practicing for a number of years with a group, he now runs his own practice in Markham, Ontario. He loves to learn and takes every opportunity to attend professional courses and lectures to stay on top of the latest innovations and techniques in dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Fazal likes to play tennis and spend time with his beloved wife and two sons.
Dr. Farzin Mirzaeeyan
Dr. Farzin’s goal in life is to never stop learning. He was born in Iran but grew up in Dubai, eventually moving to India to attend its top-ranked college where he obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001 and his Master of Dental Surgery in 2004. Afterwards he moved to the U.K. where he received a prestigious fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians in Glasgow.
Since then, he’s worked in a number of private hospitals and clinics, attending postdoctoral conferences and courses whenever he can. In 2016 he moved to Canada with his family, obtaining his licence from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 2018. He obtained qualifications in IV Moderate Sedation and Oral and Nitrous Oxide Sedation from the University of Toronto and is also trained in Medical Emergency in Dental Office and Sinus Lift Surgery for Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Farzin strongly believes in giving back to his community. In his free time, he loves to swim and spend time outdoors with his family.
Myrel
Myrel earned her Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2017, and has since worked in a number of diverse communities and settings. Her natural warmth and friendliness gives her a gentle, compassionate approach to dentistry that’s underscored by her expertise in working with children and individuals who have dental anxiety. In her free time, Myrel enjoys gardening, cooking and staying active.
Yan
An immigrant from China, she embarked on a journey that led her to Canada after completing bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. She obtained a Diploma in Medical Administration from Seneca College and certifications including insurance, CQE, and Six Sigma. She is extremely dedicated to blending her diverse expertise to serve others. Passionate about fostering connections and infusing love into every aspect of life, she finds joy in meeting new people and helping patients to achieve optimal dental health. She has a great understanding about the importance of dental wellness and its impact on quality of life. Yan works with great passion while solving patient’s need and making dental appointments easy and comfortable for them.
Outside of work, you'll find her at volunteering community, or pursuing her love for skiing, hiking,
yoga, badminton, etc.
Solmaz
She has a dental assistant degree from Anderson College, in Toronto. As a dental assistant Solmaz always enjoys communicating with patients and tries her best to make
them feel comfortable and safe while they are seeking dental treatments. Everyone finds Solmaz as a very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable.
She loves reading books and writes social articles in a newspaper in Iran. Solmaz swims in her spare time and love to spend time with her family.
Sayka Amin
As business manager Sayka keeps us running efficiently by managing the business side of things. She plays a key role in supporting our operations by communicating with patients and ensuring that we’re always on track. She and Dr. Fazal have been married since 2000, and are blessed with two wonderful sons. In her free time she loves to cook and has written a cookbook with recipes from her own cultural background.
Kathleen Carreon
Kathleen Carreon earned her degree in Business Management from Canadian Business College in 2022 with honours. Soon after her graduation, she started her career as front desk management staff in Hwy 7 Family Dentistry. She always strives to perform her job meticulously and with a high level of professionalism.
Kathleen is extremely caring about all details to confirm patient's convenience with appointments, helping patients to contact insurance for billing procedures and more.
She is well-known for her attention to detail and ability to work in a timely manner. She's warm and enjoyable to be around. Kathleen loves meeting new people and providing them with a wonderful experience.

We use state-of-the-art equipment in combination with the most up-to-date sterilization procedures, so you can be confident that you’ll always receive safe and effective treatment.
We welcome you and your family to come in and learn about the benefits of preventive oral care. It’s always better to prevent dental diseases than to have to come in for treatment once they’ve developed! Our office is stocked with pictures and models, and we provide dedicated time to help you learn the basics of good oral hygiene.
Our office is wheelchair accessible, and free parking is available onsite.
